Healthy Snacking with Healthy Flavors

One of our favorite things to eat as a family is yogurt and granola. Easy, healthy and never that boring right? Granola is one of the easiest snacks to make that sounds hard. My friend, do not be afraid. And to make it even better, you can add a delicious Essential oil to top it off. Yes you can cook with oils. It’s actually life changing when it comes to flavors.

Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil

An amazing aroma with a sweet taste. For adding to drinks or just a drop in your mouth to balance blood sugar levels. Anti-fungal, anti-bacterial. Supports teeth and gum health.

Granola Recipe:

6 cups Rolled Oats

2 cups mixed nuts

1/2 cup coconut flakes

1/4 cup coconut oil

1/4 cup real butter

1/2 cup Raw Honey

1/2 cup organic maple syrup

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon real vanilla

2 drops Cinnamon EO


Preheat oven to Bake 375f. Add all dry ingredients to a medium size bowl. Melt all wet ingredients in a small sauce pan just until oils are melted. Add to dry and mix until well combined. If it smells heavenly then you are doing it right. pour onto cookie sheet and spread out pretty evenly. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. I tend to always let it almost burn because it is very easy to do…so try to check on it often:) When golden brown, take out and immediately pour into a container for it to sit. If you leave it on the pan to cool, say good bye to getting it off easily. It will seem wet when its warm but don’t worry, when it cools in the container it gets crunchy. Let sit until cooled off and add Dried fruit and or chocolate chips… your Welcome:)

Our kiddos love this snack or breakfast. And I know exactly what they are eating which puts my mind at ease. PLUS with the cinnamon oil added I know they are getting some support for good blood sugar levels and immunity boost. Yes please and thank you:)
